the past few days, i've been a homebody. rather than just being a couch-potato, i thought it'd be good to actually do something productive. so i've been spending most of my hours in my family room, turning it into a craft room of mayhem.
project numero uno:
homemade card
-made with felt, rhinestones, doilies, and cardstock paper

the card is for my secret santa, whom i haven't given to yet, so i had to blur out the name. i don't think she reads my blog anyway =)

got the idea from this website:
http://plushkacraft.blogspot.com/2010/11/miss-and-mr-penguin.htmlregarding the cloth, i was looking everywhere around the house trying to find scraps of printed cloth, but i failed to find any. this morning, i happened to run into a clown-looking outfit for a toy. i initially thought it was hideous when i saw it, but i liked the striped pattern & thought it'd be cute for the penguin. it turned out to look okay!
project numero cuatro: unfinished 3 interpretations of a magazine model
-i used a calligraphy pen for the top right interpretation and acrylic paint for the lower left interpretation

sad thing is, i started this my senior year in high school...that was four years ago. and i'm still not done with it! haha, i completely forgot about this thing until i found it hiding behind our old piano. i still need to finish inking in the top right part, but i have no idea what to do with my last interpretation. any suggestions?
